ICC WTC Final: Aaron Finch not happy, questions ?Why India and New Zealand given 3 Reviews? for WTC Final.
ICC WTC Final: Australia?s white-ball skipper Aaron Finch today questioned the International Cricket Council (ICC) over three reviews that are granted to both India and New Zealand for the marquee clash of the ICC World Test Championship final.
Finch raised when there are neutral umpires officiating in the game, then three reviews make no sense.
Richard Illingworth and Michael Gough of England, umpires of the ICC elite panel, are officiating the game and are two standing umpires for the WTC Final between India and New Zealand.
?How come both teams have 3 reviews, when there are neutral umpires in this test match? I thought it was only brought in because of home umpires recently! #justasking,? tweeted Aaron Finch.

A year before, the global cricket body made several major changes in the ICC rules due to the restrictions posed by the dreaded pandemic.
Due to the quarantine issues and travelling restrictions, neutral umpires were unable to travel to different nations to officiate the international games and ICC agreed to conduct the international matches with all the host nation umpires and match officials.
The global body, to make a fair call for both hosts and visitors, increased the number of reviews by one. Earlier both the teams had two reviews with them in the test format while now three reviews are given to each team.
As of now, India are 120 in the loss of 3 wickets as tea has been forced by the umpires due to poor lighting. Virat Kohli (35* runs) and Ajinkya Rahane (13* runs) are in the middle for India.
For New Zealand, Kyle Jamieson, Neil Wagner and Trent Boult picked one one wicket each.
