After criticism, Virat Kohli finally makes himself available for the Ranji Trophy
India batter Virat Kohli is all set to return to the Ranji Trophy after more than a decade. As per the reports in ABP, it is learned that the batter is all set to play the third round of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25, which will begin on 30th January, for his state team, Delhi.
Virat Kohli was all set to play in the second round of Ranji Trophy 2024-25 for Delhi but unfortunately, faced a neck sprain. He informed BCCI about the same as well and the batter won't be featuring in the match. This saw Batter facing a lot of criticism, skipping the game when others were playing.
As per the reports, Virat Kohli felt neck spasms during the last Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The premier batter on 8th January took the injection for the game. It was learned he was all set to play in the second round but said that he is yet to recover from neck pain.

Virat Kohli also failed terribly in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. He managed just 190 runs out of which 100 runs came in Perth, where he slammed a century in Perth. But after that, he struggled to get going as he got out to balls outside off in all the games.
