Another Delhi Capitals foreign player tested covid positive ahead of DCvsPBKS match: One more overseas player from Delhi Capitals (DC) contingent has tested covid positive in the recent round of testing carried out by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on April 20, Wednesday. The COVID tally has reached now reached half a dozen after the recent report of another playing member being tested covid positive.
Notably, the covid positive report has come through the Rapid Antigen testings. The BCCI is organising another round of RT-PCR tests for all the members of the Delhi Capitals before they show up to play against Punjab Kings (PBKS) tonight in the Brabourne Stadium.
The Indian cricket board is arranging door-to-door testing of the entire Delhi squad ahead of tonight?s fixture against Punjab Kings.
Delhi Capitals are scheduled to face Punjab Kings (PBKS) on 20th April in the Brabourne Stadium. The fixture was earlier slated to be staged in Pune?s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, however, in wake of covid threat, the BCCI make tweaks to the venue.
?The change of venue has been triggered due to (then) five COVID-19 positive cases in the Delhi Capitals contingent,? BCCI said in a statement on Tuesday.
