Who will win India vs Pakistan match on September 4?
If we talk about the head-to-head records between India and Pakistan, the former team possess an upper hand with eight victories in 10 appearances, while two wins go in the bag of Pakistan.
However, more than head-to-head records, the form plays a crucial role in deciding the winner of the match. The winning momentum does a lot in players' minds.
Rohit Sharma-led India have fared nicely so far in the Asia Cup 2022. India won both the group stage matches, in which one was against Pakistan. The batters have shown intent on several occasions. Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav have been amongst runs.
The bowlers have also done decently. However, Avesh Khan and Arshdeep Singh need to make changes in their strategy and regain control over the bowling. Both the pacers leaked runs against Hong Kong which is a very big issue that the Pakistanis will exploit in the next match.
On the other side of the coin, Pakistan have made a good comeback with a thumping victory against Hong Kong. Pakistan defeated Hong Kong by massive 155 runs, last night.
Mohd Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman were amongst runs. Moreover, contributions to win the match came from every department. The bowlers wreaked havoc to demolish the batting lineup of Hong Kong.
Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz shared seven wickets amongst themselves while Pacer Naseem Shan and Shahnawaz Dahini also played a crucial role in winning the match.
The only concern for Pakistan would be skipper Babar Azam?s dry run. He hasn?t scored runs in the tournament so far.
