AUS vs PAK, Australia Announces Squad, David Warner set for Farewell | Australia vs Pakistan 3rd Test 2024:?Cricket Australia announced the unchanged 13-member squad for the 3rd Test against Pakistan, which will be held at Sydney Cricket Ground from January 03, 2024. David Warner will be playing his last test cricket match at this iconic venue against Pakistan.

With This, Pakistan and Australia will be playing the last test match of the three-match test series and currently, Australia is leading this series by 2-0 and it is expected that Australia will win this series by 3-0. Pakistan has a great chance to register history as Pakistan hasn't won any test match at Sydney Cricket Ground in the last three decades.

David Warner announced his retirement from test cricket in June 2023 and expressed his desire to end his test career at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Cricket Australia honoured his wish and named an unchanged squad for the 3rd test against Pakistan at SCG. This will be an exciting moment for Warner as he will get the opportunity to bow out in front of their home crowd and teammates.

Recently, David Warner surpassed Steve Waugh and became the second-highest runs scorer in International Cricket for Australia. As of Now, David Warner scored 8,695 runs in 111 test matches with 26 centuries and 36 half-centuries.

In the Last Test Match, Australia defeated Pakistan by 79 runs at Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Player of the Match was Australian Skipper Pat Cummins, who took ten wickets in the 2nd test match. Pat Cummins is leading the Australian team from the front and it is expected that they will continue the same form in the upcoming matches.

For Pakistan, It is important to win the last and third test match at Sydney Cricket Ground as currently, they are present in fifth position in the WTC Points Table 2024 whereas the Australian Team has occupied the third spot in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 Points Table.
