Australia and England announce their playing11 for 4th Ashes Test 2021-22: A day prior to the start of the 4th Ashes Test 2021-22, hosts Australia and England have revealed their playing11 for the match. Both the sides have made changes to their playing group due to their own reasons.
England has brought back pacer Stuart Broad, who will replace Ollie Robinson. The rest of the England group is intact with opener Haseeb Hameed retaining his position despite having performed dismally in the entire series.
On the other side, Australia has made a forced change to their playing11. Left-handed batsman Usman Khwaja will replace Travis Head, who has been tested covid positive and is currently undergoing his isolation in Melbourne.
Ace pacer Josh Hazlewood is still not included in the side, which clearly means that the pacer is taking his complete time to recuperate well from his injury.
The fourth test match of the ongoing Ashes 2021-22 will be held in the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) which predominantly hosts the final match of the tournament. However, this time due to the delay caused by the covid-19 pandemic and the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 clash, Cricket Australia had to make a few changes.
The five-match, all-important, series is already done and dusted with the hosts, Australia, retaining the tournament by thrashing England in the opening three matches convincingly. The Aussies were ruthless despite a few setbacks they faced and exposed the entire England unit.
With the series already gone Australia?s way, England will be hoping to get some wins in their bag and give stiff competition to their arch-test-rivals in the last two matches. England will also be hopeful to prevent a complete whitewash against Australia.?

Both sides have been impacted by the covid-19. England?s head coach Chris Silverwood has been isolated and will miss the Sydney Test. A few other unnamed non-playing members of the England squad have also contracted the virus and are completing their isolation.
Australia, though, will not be bothered with the absence of Travis Head, however, still, there will be concerns of the players getting infected with the dreaded virus and their security issue.
