In the bowling order, Nathan Lyon took three wickets for 66 runs in 24 overs for Australia. The same captain, Cummins, and Starc also took 2 wickets each. Mitchell Marsh, Head, and Hazlewood got one wicket each.
By the end of the third day's play, the Australian team had batted a total of 33 overs, in which they scored 84 runs on the loss of two wickets. Currently at the crease, Usman Khawaja is batting after scoring 34 runs in 106 balls, while Steve Smith is batting after scoring 43 runs in 72 balls. By the end of the third day's match, Australia had a lead of 300 runs.
From here, the troubles of the Pakistan team seem to be increasing. Batting in the fourth inning at Perth is not easy. Australia's spinner, Nathan Lyon, can be seen troubling the Pakistani batsman a lot in the fourth inning. In such a situation, if Pakistan has to win the first test match, then they will have to show top-class batting performance.
