Australian all-rounder Cameron Green confirms IPL 2023 Auction availability: Australian young all-rounder Cameron Green has finally confirmed his entry to the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Auction following a much-debated workload issue. He will go under the hammer on 23rd December in Kochi as BCCI conducts the mini-auction.
Speaking at the podcast ?Unplayable?, Cameron Green confirmed that he has registered for the elite Indian T20 League. The all-rounder reckons that the exciting opportunity to feature in the Indian Premier League will give him exposure to the best crafts in the world.
"I have registered for it. It will be an exciting opportunity. Speaking to a lot of guys, especially in the WA (Western Australia) set up about their experiences in the IPL, they speak so highly of it. They speak about the quality coaches that you are around, the quality players that you are around. They are all the best in the world at their craft,? Green was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au.
"It is a craft that I have not been exposed to too much. I am so open to wanting to learn as much as I can and that is probably one of the best environments to learn in. In T20 cricket, you are meeting the ball so far in front of you, so you get that full swing,? added Green.
Interestingly, there were whispers earlier that the all-rounder might skip the IPL owing to workload management. Moreover, the internet gossip got more fuss following Aussie skipper Pat Cummins? statement that he would want Green to focus on his national side.

Green came to the limelight after he performed beautifully against India in the test series. He proved lethal with both bat and ball. To add icing over the cake, he was exceptional in the field as well.
Meanwhile, he got his major break when he was asked to open the Australian innings alongside skipper Aaron Finch against India, earlier this year. Making most of the available opportunity in the three-match T20I series, Green slammed two quickfire half-centuries and got the attention of all the eyeballs.
He scored a 30-ball 61 in the first T20I and a 21-ball 52 in the third game of the series. Although he couldn?t lead his side to a series victory, he successfully made a bold statement with his willow.
