Vivo IPL 2021: A huge headache ends for MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as Australia?s Josh Hazlewood makes himself available for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, which begins on September 19 with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) taking on defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at Dubai International Stadium.

With the news, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is the only franchise to have all players available, as of now, for the remaining 31 matches in UAE.

It is noteworthy that Hazlewood pulled out of the IPL 2021 midway through its first half citing personal reasons and to get mentally ready for Australia's international schedule.

?It's a big 12 months ahead with all international commitments, as it always is with Australia, and I want to give myself the best chance to be mentally and physically ready for that. That's the decision I've made, and it sits pretty well with me," cricket.com.au quoted Josh Hazlewood as saying.

The yellow brigade roped in Jason Behrendorff as a replacement for Josh Hazlewood. Though the former cricketer didn't get to play a single match in the first half.

The presence of Hazlewood can overcome CSK?s issue of death bowling. The Australian pacer can deliver some quality spells as he usually does for Australia.

Hazlewood picked just one wicket in his three appearances in the IPL 2020 with CSK.

CSK have already settled their base in the UAE and are out of quarantine to begin the training sessions. The franchise is has booked a luxurious Th8 Palm hotel in Dubai.
