BAN vs AFG 2023: Afghanistan announces Strong 16-members squad for the T20I series against Bangladesh

BAN vs AFG 2023: Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced the Strong 16 members Squad for the T20I series against Bangladesh, which is scheduled from July 14th.

Afghanistan's tour of Bangladesh started in June, where they played a one-off test series, and then they came home to celebrate their festival; now, The Tour will again start, but this time, they will be playing ODI and T20I series in Bangladesh.

Both the Teams will be playing two matches T20I series from July 14th, which will be played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet. Before this T20I series, Afghanistan will be playing three ODI matches against Bangladesh, starting on July 5th at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

AFG and BAN have recently played a one-off test match at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. Bangladesh easily won this one-off test match by a massive margin of 546 runs.

The Player of this Test Match is Najmal Hossain Shanto, who scored 146 (175) & 124 (151) runs in both innings. Afghanistan performed poorly in this test match as they didn't have their key players; otherwise, the results could be better.

The Last Month, Afghanistan Tour Sri Lanka for the Three matches ODI Series against Sri Lanka, and they lost the series by 2-1; the Player of The Series was Dushmantha Chameera, who took six wickets in two matches.
