Duleep Trophy 2024-25: The last few days saw a lot of talks happening regarding the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2024-25. It is because the senior men's team are on a break of 42 days, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has asked some of the senior players to feature in the coming tournament.
On Wednesday (August 14), the Indian selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar announced the squads for all four participating teams in the tournament. Duleep Trophy is played in Zonal format, but the BCCI has made it a four-team competition for this season. India A, B, C, and D will be participating in the coming tournament, which will take place between September 5 and 22.
This tournament will help the Indian stars who are part of the Test team to have some game time under their belts before a long test season comes up. India are set to play Test series against Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Australia. Hence, this tournament marks an important value for the Indian team.
