BCCI not interested in hosting Day and night Test matches during the home season in 2024 in India?

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is not keen to host pink ball Test matches during the next home season as per the reports in Times of India. The governing body is not convinced with because of the fact that pink ball games conclude in the just 2-3 days. The
BCCI is keeping the public interest in mind and therefore they aren?t interested in hosting pink ball Tests. The governing body wants to develop interest of long games in public and pink ball games surely won?t help it. The day and night Test matches which were played in India concluded in just 2-3 days and it didn?t convince the board.?
BCCI secretary Jay Shah mentioned that they also asked the ECB for having a pink ball Test during the upcoming Test series but it couldn?t happen. Indian Cricket Team will be facing England in a five-Test series in February and March. The games will be part of the ICC WTC 2025.?

Indian Cricket team so far has played four pink-ball Tests. While three have happened at home, one took place in Australia in 2020 which they lost. The Rohit Sharma-led side has won three pink ball games but they were pretty one sided and couldn?t last much.?
The pink ball Test likely will happen after something. BCCI will be making a separate roadmap for that. The last time Indian Cricket Team played a Test match was against Sri Lanka in Bengaluru. It remains to be seen when will they be playing the next pink ball test.?
India to be seen next during the South Africa tour
Indian Cricket Team team will be next seen in action during the South Africa tour. They will be playing T20ISs, ODIs and Tests. The India tour to South Africa will begin with the T20I series. The first game was washed out due to rain and the second game will be played from the 12th on December.?
After the conclusion of the T20I series, Indian Cricket Team will be seen in action during the three-match ODI series, starting 17th December. The real action will unfold when both teams will take on each other in the Test series. It?ll be a two-match series which will be played from 26th December to 3rd January.?
