BCCI to deal with Virat Kohli?s contradictory statements in the pre-departure press conference: The storm around team India?s ODI captaincy disturbance has refused to sink as the BCCI chief on Thursday indicates to deal with the statements of the red ball Indian captain. Virat Kohli?s comments on the burning captaincy issue contradicted comments which the Indian cricket board chief Sourav Ganguly made.
The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has asserted that the board will deal with the opposed statements passed by Virat Kohli during the recently organised pre-departure press conference on Wednesday.
Kohli said that the BCCI never asked him to stay on with his T20I captaincy while Ganguly in an interview clearly stated that he personally asked Virat to not quit his T20I roles for the team.
Ganguly recently said that the board won?t do any press conference or any sort of statement won?t be released on the issue.

"No statements, no press conference. We will deal with it to (the) BCCI," Ganguly told local media persons on Thursday.
Kohli?s comments during the press conference brought up the tension between him and the board administrators.
"Whatever was said about the communication that happened about the decision that was made was inaccurate," Kohli had said with obvious reference to Ganguly's statement.
"When I left the T20 captaincy, I had first approached BCCI and intimated them of my decision and laid down my point of view in front of them (office bearers).
"I gave the reasons why I wanted to quit T20 captaincy and my viewpoint was received very nicely. There was no offence, no hesitation and not for once was I told that 'you should not leave T20 captaincy'," he had asserted.
