Bhuvneshwar Kumar explains why MS Dhoni was important for India.

Team India?s ace pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is currently in Sri Lanka for limited-overs series, recalled a couple of his old yet very close to his heart memories on the occasion of World Social Media Day.

The pacer had posted a picture with MS Dhoni, a day after the former captain bid adieu (15th August 2020) to international cricket. He wrote a heartfelt caption in the picture that paid tribute to India?s one of the biggest legends of cricket.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, in a video posted by BCCI on twitter said, MS Dhoni was a very helpful human being. 

?This image I posted when Mahi Bhai (MS Dhoni) retired from international cricket. Everyone knows what sort of player he was, but the kind of human being, that is why I posted something for him. If you speak to anybody about Dhoni, they will tell you how helpful he is,? said the pacer recalling his Instagram post about MS Dhoni.

He further added that more than his cool and calm nature, he was a great guidance provider for the youngsters.

?He always gives guidance to the youngsters,? the pacer added.

Dhoni paid his goodbye to international cricket without any farewell game, which he deserved more than anyone else. He is the only skipper on the planet right now with all three ICC trophies in his cabinet of success.

He won the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, ICC ODI World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2013.

A couple of months earlier, Indian chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav recalled how crucial was the services of MS Dhoni to India and to the bowlers.

Yadav reckons that his valuable inputs from behind the stumps were valuable to him and Yuzvendra Chahal, who played together for India until MS Dhoni was there.

Kuldeep and CHahal have not played a single game together since MS Dhoni?s retirement.
