ENGvsIND: English ace pacer James Anderson has revealed that India?s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah wasn?t trying to get him out during the second innings of the Lord?s test match in which the Indian pacer rattled him with nasty bouncers and pinpoint yorkers.

Bumrah delivered 10 balls over to James Anderson in the Lord?s test which mostly comprised of the bouncers and yorkers. One of the balls hit Anderson on the helmet. The heat between the two teams began during that moment and words were exchanged as well.

Anderson was definitely not pleased with the incident and indicated the same on his recent BBC Tailenders Podcast. He disclosed that the first ball he faced was 90 miles an hour and was on point. He further stated that he has not faced this fierce over in his entire career.

"I got caught off guard a bit because all the batters coming in were saying how slow the pitch was, when it is banged in short, it is really slow. Similarly, when I came out to bat Joe Root said Bumrah is not bowling as quick as he normally does,? said James Anderson to the BBC Tailenders Podcast.

?And then the first ball was 90mph on the money, wasn't it? "After that, I have not felt like this, I don't think ever in my career, I felt like he wasn't trying to get me out.?

Bumrah wasn?t trying to get me out during 2nd test, says James Anderson.

Jasprit Bumrah delivered three no-balls in the over which comprised of 10 deliveries to James Anderson. The pacer was absolutely ruthless with his accurate toe crushers and short of length balls. The commentators literally said, ?Anderson can finally breathe,? after the speedster completed his elongated over.

?He bowled an over that was maybe 10, 11, 12 balls, bowling no-ball after no-ball, and bowling short. I think he bowled two on the stumps, which I managed to dig out," he added.

Jasprit Bumrah was exposed to the same situation, which he created for James Anderson, when he came to bat in the third innings, however, he got settled to the situation easily and gave a befitting reply to the bowlers as they tried to bowl short of length balls.?
