Mumbai Indians (MI) fast bowler Trent Boult is all set to return for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. As per the reports in ESPNCricinfo, it is learned that the pacer has decided to join the team for the rest of the games. 
All the foreign players of the IPL 2025 went back home after the league was suspended for one week due to the tensions between India and Pakistan. However, now, with the league all set to resume on 17th May, the franchises have been calling back their players. 
Some of the overseas players reportedly have denied coming back due to safety concerns. There were a lot of speculations over Trent Boult's availability as well, but the fast bowler has put his hand up in coming back for the IPL 2025.

There were no cheerleaders, no firecrackers for the match today as the teams presented condolences and players to the families of the affected ones in the Kashmir mishaps.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first, a decision that paid immediate dividends. SRH were rocked early, collapsing to 24/4 inside the powerplay. Travis Head was dismissed for a golden duck by Boult, and Kishan followed soon after in bizarre fashion—caught down the leg side but walking off without a review despite no visible edge.

Just when it seemed all hope was lost, Heinrich Klaasen dug in. After a scratchy start, the South African began to time the ball sweetly, unleashing boundaries and bringing life back into the innings. Manohar, too, found his rhythm and launched a few powerful blows late on.
The duo stitched together a vital 99-run partnership, dragging SRH from the brink of collapse to a more respectable total. Though still below par, the surface's dryness could offer their bowlers something to work with — and thanks to Klaasen and Manohar, SRH at least have a flicker of hope to defend with 143 runs on the board.
Mumbai Indians had a shaky start as Ryan Rickelton departed early, courtesy of a stunning return catch by Jaydev Unadkat. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to capitalize on the early breakthrough. Will Jacks and Rohit Sharma steadied the ship with a composed partnership, guiding MI through the powerplay unscathed.

Zeeshan provided the breakthrough by dismissing Jacks, paving the way for Suryakumar Yadav’s arrival at the crease. Rohit continued his fluent form, bringing up a well-paced fifty off 34 deliveries. Together, Rohit and Surya shifted the momentum decisively in MI’s favor.
Though Malinga managed to dismiss Rohit for a commanding 70 off 46 balls, the damage had already been done. Suryakumar Yadav then finished the job with a blistering unbeaten 40 off just 18 balls, sealing a comfortable seven-wicket win for the Mumbai Indians.
