ICC Champions Trophy 2025: The ICC main event of the year 2025 is just heading to the doorstep and we are standing past the deadline for the squad announcement declared by the ICC for the grand event ICC Champions Trophy 2025. 

The ICC has set January 12 as the deadline for submitting provisional squads for the 2025 Champions Trophy. Of the eight participating nations, six—excluding the two finalists of the last ICC Champions Trophy, Pakistan and India—have already submitted their squads.

There is a strong likelihood that India and Pakistan will announce their squads simultaneously before January 19, as both teams are currently addressing fitness concerns involving their key players.

The tournament features eight teams divided into two groups. Group A consists of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B includes Afghanistan, England, Australia, and South Africa.
