Vivo IPL 2021: The officials of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC) have reached out to the BCCI and sought their permission to head out to the UAE at least one month prior to the start of the Vivo IPL 2021.

Both the teams CSK and DC are the placed in top two of the IPL 2021 points table and wants to continue their dominance in phase 2 as well by giving ample time to their players to get accustomed to the situations and conditions.

It is noteworthy that all the flights between India and UAE have been banned until July 30th due to a covid surge in India and no one knows when the ban will be lifted by the UAE government.

According to the report of Cricbuzz, both the aforementioned teams intend to reach Dubai by 20th August and begin their preparations.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is also reported to have the same view and wants to head out to UAE on or before August 20th.

The top BCCI officials are currently working on the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and recently toured Oman and UAE in the same regard.

The schedule and the fixtures for the rescheduled IPL 2021 are yet to be revealed along with the complete information on the availability of overseas players for the tournament.
