CSK Playing11 in IPL 2022, CSK Complete Squad, Players List: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), recently, wrapped up yet another super successful and power-packed IPL mega auction. Each of the ten Indian Premier League franchises played brilliantly with their chalked strategies and acquired the best of the best players from the world cricket for the upcoming season fifteen of the tournament.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) followed its tried and tested template to bid for the players. The yellow franchise went on to bid for every player they had in the last season and bought back a few of them.
MS Dhoni-led team betted on their core strength which is only formed by the Indian players. They looked to bring back players who have substantial experience in international cricket and also opted to look for some of the young guns for the future.
Chennai completed all 25 players easily on day two of the IPL 2022 mega auction with INR 2.95 Crores of funds to spare. Young pacer Deepak Chahar remained the pick of the players for CSK as he earned a tremendous bid of INR 14 crores from the yellow brigade. Meanwhile, Dwayne Bravo (INR 4.40 Crore), Ambati Rayudu (INR 6.75 Crore), Robin Uthappa (INR 2 Crore) were some other players who were brought back by CSK for IPL 2022.
Besides these aforementioned players, CSK was also successful in getting the likes of Devon Conway, Adam Milne, Dwaine Pretorius, and Chris Jordan quite easily.

CSK Playing11 in IPL 2022:
After failing to acquire back Faf du Plessis in the auction, CSK will have to look at another batsman who can open the innings for the team. Hari Nishaanth and Narayan Jagadeesan are two of the most probable candidates to form a pair with Ruturaj Gaikwad at the opening slot.?
H Nishaanth is likely to get a nod ahead of Jagadeesan due to the aggressive nature of the game. Gaikwad is a slow starter of the game. He takes his time to settle down and then opens his fire.
England?s spin bowling all-rounder Moeen Ali will be in the third position. Ali was sensational for CSK in the IPL 2021. He played the aggressor?s role and fetched quick runs for the team in the middle overs. Ambati Rayudu will follow Moeen Ali in the packing order.?
The franchise believes in having an experienced middle order and Ambati Rayudu helps the franchise in achieving it. Rayudu stabilises the playing11 with his dual nature of the game. He can play hitting strokes in slog overs as well as can provide cushion after a couple of early breakthroughs.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will be the number 5 player. He can switch his position with Rayudu and can also come down the order, as per the requirement. He will be followed by skipper MS Dhoni, who needs no introduction.
There will be a toss-up between domestic Shivam Dube and veteran Dwayne Bravo at number 7. Bravo can be extremely useful in the death overs with his clever bowling mind, even if he fails to amass runs with the bat. While Shivam Dube is a young player and has a lot of potential if shown the right direction. He can change the course of the game by his sensational hitting.
As far as bowling options are considered, CSK will stick to the combination of Maheesh Theekshana/Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Adam Milne, Rajvardhan Hangargekar.
Maheesh Theekshana and Mitchell Santner are the spin bowling options while Deepak Chahar, Adam Milne and Rajvardhan Hangargekar will be the specialist seamers in the playing11.
CSK were pretty impressed with U19 World Cup winner Hajvardhan Hangargekar. He has the pace and can be extremely destructive when paired with Kiwi pacer Adam Milne. The New Zealand pacer will be expected to do what Josh Hazlewood did for CSK.
Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar will be the pivotal powerplay bowler for CSK. He is absolutely exquisite in the powerplays. If not played with caution, he can easily provide two to three breakthroughs in his early overs.
CSK Playing11 in IPL 2022:
Ruturaj Gaikwad, H Nishaanth, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube/Dwayne Bravo, MS Dhoni, Maheesh Theekshana/Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Adam Milne, Rajvardhan Hangargekar.
This is what the first predicted playing11 of CSK looks like for the IPL 2022. The dynamics of the playing11 may change if BCCI allows the franchises to play five overseas players. But the core players will remain same.
