CSK vs KKR 2022 IPL Match Prediction, Dream11 Team, Fantasy Prediction: The inaugural match of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) season fifteen is just around the corner with a mere couple of days left for the fixture. The tournament opener will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Wankhede Stadium on March 26th.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be high in their confidence after their success in the last IPL season in the UAE. MS Dhoni and co lifted their fourth IPL title, last year and will play to defend the title and equal Mumbai Indians (MI?s) record of five IPL trophies.

However, their aspirations for the IPL 2022 have been dented heavily by a few early setbacks after two of their top players have become unavailable. England all-rounder Moeen Ali will miss the first match against KKR, while pacer Deepak Chahar is currently in the recovery process after sustaining a right quadriceps injury. 

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is also having their problems currently. Australian pacer Pat Cummins and his compatriot Aaron Finch will miss at least the first three KKR matches in the IPL 2022 owing to their national duties. 

Despite assembling a formidable squad for the Tata IPL 2022, KKR will be facing a few issues that are discussed below.

The franchise doesn?t have a lot of firepower in the middle order. Sunil Narine, Andree Russell are there, but both of them haven?t performed consistently in the last two editions. Moreover, the franchise doesn?t carry a specialist tested wicketkeeper in the squad. KKR bagged Sheldon Jackson, but his performance will be a serious concern for them.

MS Dhoni-led CSK too has some of the glaring issues on the side. The yellow brigade is not having a trusted wrist-spinner on the side. CSK is also lacking the Indian bowling option who can bowl consistently.
