England Vs India 3rd Test Preview: Following the eventful affair at the Home of Cricket Lords, team India would look further to stamp its authority over England in the upcoming third test match at Headingley Leeds. The opening test match ended in a draw as the rain played spoilsport, however, India made a complete turnaround in the second match. The visitors are currently leading the five matches test series by 1-0 after two matches.
While India will be confident enough to lengthen the lead in the third test, Joe Root led England will be hoping to level the series by thrashing India in the Leeds test match.
There is a lot going around both teams right now. England has earlier suffered another blow after Mark Wood was ruled out for the third test match. The hosts are now left with limited opportunities among pacers.
Virat Kohli and the Indian management on the other hand will somehow have to find a way to fit Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing 11 of the third test match. Ashwin warmed the bench in the opening two Test matches, however, the spinner is highly unlikely to be seated out of the regular playing 11. Moreover, all-rounder, Shardul Thakur is also available for the selection in the third test match.
