English pacer Jofra Archer to undergo another elbow surgery today.

England?s premier pacer Jofra Archer is all set to undergo another surgery on his right elbow which has caused him a lot of trouble in recent times. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) informed the development about Archer?s sore elbow.

The 26-years old pacer was already ruled out of the England-New Zealand two games Test series, starting next month, owing to his elbow pain.

Archer returned to the cricket field after completing his rehab program. He played for his home side Sussex in the County Championship against Kent but he only bowled five overs in the second innings raising questions on his fitness.

"England and Sussex bowler Jofra Archer has been reviewed by a medical consultant in respect of his right elbow soreness. He will now proceed to surgery tomorrow,? the ECB said in a statement on Thursday.

There is no clarity on when the pacer will return to the Cricket field after another surgery on the right elbow. Questions on his presence for the India-England five games test series are also raised. The clash between India and England for a five games Test series will begin on August 4.

Earlier, in March Archer had undergone surgery to remove a glass fragment from a tendon on his right hand. The injury was sustained back in January after attempting to clean his home?s fish tank.

Stuart Broad, another England pacer, said that Archer is currently ?frustrated? with this niggle and is pretty determined to make his comeback to the field. We all are hoping he gets fit for the ICC T20 World Cup in India and for the marquee Ashes series later this year.
