First Player To Score 150 In Champions Trophy | Ben Duckett Makes History

England opener Ben Duckett has etched his name in cricket history. He scored 150 runs for the first time in the Champions Trophy at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday.

In the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 which was conducted at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday in the match between Australia vs England, Ben Duckett scored 165 off 143 balls and wrote his name in the cricket history of the champions trophy. At his inning, Ben Duckett became the first-ever batter in cricket history to reach the 150-run mark in a Champions Trophy match. 


Duckett also smashed 17 fours and 3 sixes in the Australia vs England match at Gaddafi Stadium. England scored 351 for 8 in 50 overs and Ben Duckett scored 165 and created history in the ICC Champions Trophy. 

The record for most runs by a batsman in the Champions Trophy belongs to Joe Root with his 133 not-out against Bangladesh in 2017 and Marcus Trescothick scored 119 runs against Zimbabwe in 2002 and 104 against West Indies in 2004. Now Ben Duckett also writes his name in the 
Elite list of English Champions Trophy centurions.
