ICC Men's ODI Player Ranking Updated, Virat, Rohit slips down after IND vs WI ODIs

ICC Men's ODI Player Ranking: Team India's stalwart cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli saw a decline in their ICC Men's ODI Player Ranking, which was updated by the International Cricket Council (ICC) following the three-match IND vs WI ODIs. As per the rankings, Rohit Sharma slipped out of the top 10 slots, while Virat Kohli dropped one position.
Notably, neither Rohit Sharma nor Virat Kohli featured in the last two matches of the IND vs WI ODI series and their places were covered by the young players. Both the stalwarts were rested from the games, resulting in the decline of their respective player rankings in the ODIs.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma slipped one position down below Australia's Steve Smith in the recently updated rankings, while Virat Kohli has been dropped below South Africa's Quinton de Kock, who is placed eighth in the ICC Men's ODI Player Ranking.
Young opener Shubman Gill continues to be India's top-ranked batter (7th position) in the ODI Player Ranking with an overall rating of 724.
Following his exploits in the recently concluded IND vs WI ODI series, Ishan Kishan has moved up in the chart by two places. The southpaw scored 184 runs in three innings at an average of 61.33.
The ICC Men's ODI Player Ranking for batters is led by Pakistan's Babar Azam with 886 rating points followed by Protea batter Rassie van der Dussen (777), Pakistan's Fakhar Zaman (755) and Imam ul Haq (745).
ICC Men's ODI Player Ranking - Bowlers & All Rounders
Talking about the bowling ranking, Mohammad Siraj also saw a drop of one position after he missed the IND vs WI ODI series due to workload management. Siraj was sent home after delivering his duties in the IND vs WI test series.
Meanwhile, wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav has moved significantly up to reach the 14th spot in the ICC Men's ODI Player Ranking following his heroics in the three-match IND vs WI series.
The bowler's ranking is dominated by Australia's Josh Hazlewood with 705 rating points and his compatriot Mitchell Starc (686). Afghan spinner Rashid Khan moved up one place to third in the ranking, following Mohammad Siraj's drop, who is currently placed in the fourth spot.
Bangladesh's senior all-rounder Shakib al Hasan is leading the ODI all-rounder's ranking with 371 rating points followed by Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi.
