Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis dispossessed Afghanistan’s spin bowling all-rounder Mohammad Nabi as the number-one T20 international all-rounder in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) T20i rankings. Stoinis performed really well with both bat and ball in the group stage phase of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, as he picked up six wickets, scored 156 runs, and helped the Kangaroos qualify in an easy manner for the Super Eight phase of the tournament.

While Stoinis has jumped by one spot to the number one position in the rankings, Mohammad Nabi has fallen by three spots to the fourth position, while Sri Lankan captain Wanindu Hasaranga and Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan have jumped to the second and third positions, respectively.
The bowlers of co-hosts West Indies are having a really good T20 World Cup 2024 campaign so far, and their efforts with the ball have been rewarded in the T20 International bowling rankings.
Left arm orthodox spinner Akeal Hosein has made a leap of six spots in the rankings and has moved to the second position, while England’s Adil Rashid continues to lead ICC’s T20 international bowling rankings.
Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph has moved from the 17th position to the 11th spot while his fellow teammate Gudakesh Motie has made a big jump of 16 places to the 13th position.
Talking about the T20 batting rankings, India’s star batsman Suryakumar Yadav continues to reign supreme at the top, and he is followed by the likes of Phil Salt, Pakistani captain Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan in the second, third, and fourth places, respectively.
Aussie opener Travis Head has made a leap from the 10th position to the fifth position while Windies wicketkeeper batsman Nicholas Pooran has jumped from 19th to the 11th spot in the rankings. His teammate Sherfane Rutherford has also entered the top 50 in the batting rankings as he is now ranked 42nd.
