ICC Men’s T20I Players Rankings: The ICC Men’s T20I rankings recently got updated and Indian Cricket Team’s star batter Suryakumar Yadav continues to remain at the top of the batting rankings and two Kiwi batters have made a jump in the rankings as well following their good performances in the five match T20i series against Pakistan.

Kiwi opener Tim Seifert has jumped three places to the 24th position while fellow compatriot Mark Chapman has made a big leap in the rankings as well following his wonderful unbeaten half – century and man of the match heroics in the third T20 International game of the series against Pakistan.

The Southpaw scored 87 runs in just 42 balls in an outstanding performance with the bat and jumped to the 33rd rank by 12 places.

On the other hand, Nepal’s All Rounder Dipendra Singh Airee reached a career high ranking as he continued his form which saw him smash six consecutive sixes off the over of Qatar’s Kamran Khan during Nepal’s ACC Men’s T20 International Premier Cup playoff game. He played an unbeaten inning of 44 runs in just 29 balls and the inning helped him to move to the 50th rank in the ICC Men’s T20i rankings.

Dipendra is the fourth Nepali batter to break through the top 50 after Paras Khadka (42nd rank in September 2019), Rohit Paudel (45th rank in March 2024) and Kaushal Bhurtel (27th position in March 2022).

Talking about the bowling rankings, Pakistan’s left arm quick bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is once again the highest rated Pakistani T20i bowler as he rose two spots to 17th on the back of his outstanding display against New Zealand in the first two T20i’s.

The 24 year old took the lone wicket in the first game which got washed out due to rain and took a three wicket haul (3-13) in the second game and his three wickets helped the Shaheens defeat the Black Caps in the second T20 International of the five match series.

England’s leg spinner Adil Rashid continues to remain the number one ranked bowler while Kiwi spinner Ish Sodhi made a jump of five ranks to the 18 spot after his terrific outing with the ball in the second and the third T20 Internationals against Pakistan.

The leg spinner ended the second encounter with figures of 1-18 and improvised in the third game with a two wicket haul (2-25) as the visitors leveled the series 1-1 thanks to a brilliant knock from Mark Chapman.
