ICC U19 World Cup 2024 Points Table Super 6: The Super SIX stage of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2024 is just about to commence today on 30 January with the first match of the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 Super SIX between India U19 and New Zealand U19 of Group 1. India U19 is leading Group 1 and Australia is leading Group 2 in the newly formed Super SIX Points Table. As 12 Teams out of 16 Teams qualified for the Super SIX stage in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024, the teams are now divided into two groups- Group 1 and Group 2. The top three teams from Group A and three teams from Group D combined to form Group 1 and three teams from Group B and Three teams from Group C combined to form Group 2.
Now, Group 1 consists of India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Ireland, and Nepal whereas Group 2 fills Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe.
The Super SIX teams will carry forward points and NRR from the 2 matches of Group Stage against the teams that have qualified for the Super Six and here in the Super Six round, they are scheduled to play two games each. That means the final points table will form when all the teams will play at least 4 games.
As of now, India is leading the board in Group 1. They have won all three games in the Group stage defeating Bangladesh U19, Ireland U19 and USA U19 with some healthy margins. They carry forward a high Net Run Rate of +2.850 with 4 points. Following them are Pakistan U19 with +1.356 NRR and 4 Points.
Ireland U19 is the bottom-most team of Group 1 with an NRR of -2.227. They have no points till now and so does Nepal. Nepal is placed 5th and have an NRR of -0.800.
When it comes to Group 2, Australia U19 are right at the top with a healthy net run rate of +2.340 and possess 4 points. Sri Lanka U19 follow them with an NRR of +0.431. West Indies and South Africa are placed 3rd and 4th respectively and England U19 found a 5th spot at the start of Super Six and hopefully, they will go up in the table.
