ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: The International Cricket Council has announced the full schedule of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 and the Women's Tournament is set to kick start in the first week of October this year. Initially, Bangladesh were about to host the Women's T20 World Cup. The iconic Shere Bangla National Stadium and Sylhet International Stadium were the two stadiums that the Bangladesh Cricket Board offered for the tournament.

ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Format

Coming to the teams, fixture, and format, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 is set to be played between 10 teams. The 10 teams are divided into two groups- Group A and Group B.

The 10 teams will then play in a round-robin fixture within their groups and the top two teams from both groups after the completion of the Group stage will head to the semi-finals of the tournament. ICC is known to keep the fixtures and format clean and sorted and this is another example of it.
