ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 is on the last edge of the group stage, and the calculators are in heavy demand. Australia became the first team to qualify for the semifinals, and the fight for the last three spots is really interesting now. Here is the qualification scenario of all teams in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024.

The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 is being played in UAE under Bangladesh's hosting rights. The ICC event was scheduled to be held in Bangladesh, but the political crisis in Bangladesh led to the shifting of the hosting venue to the UAE. Ten teams are competing for the coveted shining World Cup trophy.

ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Qualification Scenario

After Winning the 18th match of the tournament against India, Australia is now the first and only team that have qualified for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 Semifinal. There are still three spots left in the hunt.

However, Sri Lanka, from Group A, and Host Bangladesh and Scotland from Group B are already eliminated from the competition. So, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, England, South Africa, and West Indies are left in the contests. Let's check the qualification scenario one by one:-

Qualification Scenario of India: India have played all four matches of the group stage and they won only two. They had a chance to cement their spot in the semis yesterday against Australia but India lost the match and are now dependent on others. India are in the second spot at this time before the NZ vs PAK match.

India can qualify if:
- New Zealand loses against Pakistan
- Pakistan win by a small margin of not more than ~20 runs or last over chase of the target.

Qualification Scenario of New Zealand: New Zealand are third in the Points Table of Group A. They have equal points to India with just a slightly lower NRR. Their future depends on their match against Pakistan.

New Zealand can qualify if:
- they defeat Pakistan by any margin.

Qualification Scenario of Pakistan: Pakistan are quite far away from the race but still in the room. They are ranked fourth in the table and have a match today against New Zealand.

Pakistan can qualify if:
- they defeat New Zealand by more than ~50 runs under 15 overs OR chase the target under 8-10 overs.

Qualification Scenario of England: England are the table toppers of Group B and they have the last match left in the group stage against West Indies.

England can Qualify if:
- They defeat West Indies by any margin.

Qualification Scenario of South Africa: South Africa have also played all of their matches and they are sitting in the second spot of the table.

South Africa can qualify if:
- England win by any margin
- West Indies win by a big margin so England's NRR gets lower than SA

Qualification Scenario of West Indies: West Indies have got nothing to lose. They have just one match left against England.

West Indies can qualify if:
- they defeat England by big margins.
