ICC World Cup 2023 is keeping everyone on its toes even though the tournament hasn?t started yet. The excitement is getting doubled up as each day passes by. The cricket extravaganza will take place in India from 5th October and the final is all set to take place on 19th November. The tournament will open with a blockbuster clash between England and New Zealand and coming to the Indian Cricket Team, they will be seen in action on 8th October against Australia in Chennai.

We are just a few weeks away from the ICC World Cup 2023 in what has been the latest development as per the reports in Sports Tak, it is learned that the Indian squad for the World Cup is all set to be announced by 3rd September. 

Indian squad for the ICC World Cup 2023 is one of the most talked about things in the last few weeks. The Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) has named the team for the Asia Cup 2023 but they have announced a 17-member team. The squad for the World Cup, however, on the other hand, shall consist of 15 members. 

It is expected that the 15 players from the Indian squad for the ICC World Cup 2023 will be from the team that will be travelling to Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup. The team has a great luxury this time around because all the star players, who were injured, have attained full fitness and will be back.

ICC has told teams to name their preliminary squad for the ICC World Cup 2023 by 5th September. But teams can make changes to their squad after that before naming the final squad on 27th September. It is likely that two of the unlucky members from the Asia Cup squad will miss out.
