IND vs AFG: India skipper Rohit Sharma is all set to break the massive record of his teammate Virat Kohli in the T20Is. The opening batter is just 44 runs away from becoming the India captain with the most runs in the shortest format of the game.?

Rohit Sharma is likely to achieve the feat in the upcoming three-match IND vs AFGT20I series. The series between India and Afghanistan will be played from 11th January to 17th January in Mohali, Indore and Bengaluru. 

Rohit Sharma currently has 1527 runs as skipper of the Indian team whereas Virat Kohli ended with 1570 runs. With the kind of white-ball form, the current captain is in, it?s fair to say that he can easily achieve the feat in the upcoming IND vs AFG series.

Rohit Sharma last played the white-ball game for India in the ICC World Cup 2023. He looked in superb form and played some magnificent innings at the top of the order. The opening batter gave his team blistering starts and activated T20I made in ODIs.
