Memories from the last tour of Adelaide would be bitter and India are set to erase the bad memories and write the fresh script at the Adelaide oval.

IND vs AUS 2nd Test: With a winning start to the series, India are all set to face the Adelaide challenge on 6th December. The visiting team would like to erase the bitter memories from the last visit to Adelaide Oval and set a winning streak.

The first test between the two teams saw a complete roller-coaster ride in the first innings from both teams, but India completely dominated in the second innings in all aspects.

India are at almost full strength for the second test but Australia dealt a heavy blow of missing out Josh Hazlewood as he is injured. However, they are still too strong as they have a heavy bench.

The second test between India and Australia is set to be played on December 6 at Adelaide Oval, and this match will be played by Pink Ball. A special thing about the pink ball match is the testing conditions during twilight time.

India's history at the Adelaide Oval has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. Since their first encounter with Australia at this venue in 1948, India has played 13 Tests here. The results have largely favored the hosts, with India managing just two victories. The most recent triumph came in 2018, a memorable chapter in their Test journey Down Under.

This time, the Indian side appears well-prepared, having already gained momentum with a Pink-ball warm-up match against the Prime Minister's XI, which they convincingly won. However, with four Tests still to play, the upcoming Adelaide Test promises to be a formidable challenge, despite India's commanding victory in the series opener.

IND vs AUS 2nd Test: Adelaide Oval Pitch Report

The Adelaide Oval has traditionally been a batter's haven, producing massive scores over the years. However, the dynamics shift significantly in day-night Tests, as the pink ball comes alive under the lights, offering ample assistance to the pacers.

Damian Hough, the head curator of the Adelaide Oval, has promised a balanced surface for the upcoming Test. Adding to the intrigue, light showers are forecasted for Friday, which could influence the pitch's behavior during the first two days of play, potentially giving bowlers an early advantage.
