IND vs AUS WTC Final: D?j? vu hits as India is on the verge of losing it all in the final yet another time. India are all out for 296 runs, yet Australia has a big lead of 173! If they had kept the chances they have in the morning session, it would have been something more. They didn't, and Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur, two Mumbai boys, sewed a century partnership.

Day 3 started with Ajinkya Rahane in the strike and Bolland with the ball in his hands. Rahane flicks the first ball for a single and KS Bharat went back to the pavilion with the very first ball he faced of the day. Australian fielding looked a bit rusty as they dropped Shardul Thakur twice in the slip.

Ajinkya Rahane showed some character, stick to the basics, and smashed a magnificent half-century. Returning to the Test team after 512 days, Team down & out and then he smashed a fifty under pressure. His brilliant 89 and Shardul Thakur's belligerent 51 kept India in the competition.
