IND vs AUS: After the end of the ICC World Cup 2023, the cricket action will continue to entertain fans. India and Australia will lock horns with each other in the five-match T20I series. It?ll be played from 23rd November to 3rd December across 5 different venues. The series will also kick start the preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, set to take place in June next year.

With the IND vs AUS series slated to take place just after the ICC World Cup 2023, it is expected that India might give rest to seniors. We may see a new-faced team donning the blue jersey. A lot of youngsters are expected to find a place in the XI.
One of the players that can be there is Riyan Parag. As per the reports in the Times of India, it is learned that the young all-rounder might make it into the team for the IND vs AUS. He has impressed selectors with his performance in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Riyan Parag set the stage on fire as he smashed 510 runs in just 10 matches during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He had an average of 85.00 and a staggering strike rate of 182.79. The all-rounder also was handy with the ball as he chipped in for his team at crucial junctures.
Riyan Parag impressed many with his outings in the Deodhar trophy. He amassed 354 runs in five games at an average of 88.50 and a strike rate of 136.67. The batter also smashed two centuries and one half-century as well. He also bagged 11 wickets with the ball.
The addition of Riyan Parag to the team might be a great thing for Indian cricket. India certainly is looking for a batter who can bowl and currently, there?s no one better than him in domestic cricket. If he performs well, he could be vital for the team even in the T20 World Cup.
Apart from it is expected that the Indian team that played in the Asian Games might play the IND vs AUS. Ruturaj Gaikwad is likely to be the captain of the team. The likes of Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Yashasvi Jaiswal and others are expected to make the cut.
On the other hand, Australia have named their squad to the IND vs AUS. Apart from few big names missing, some key players will be part of the series.

The first IND vs AUS game will be played on 23rd November at Visakhapatnam followed by the second match to be played on 26th November in Thiruvananthapuram. The focus will then shift to the third game that will be played on 28th November in the 3rd T20I. The last two games of the series will be played on December 1st and December 3rd in Nagpur and Hyderabad respectively.
