IND vs AUS: Indian star batter, Shubman Gill has been ruled out of the first test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth. Devdutt Padikkal, who was part of the India A squad in Australia, has been requested to remain with the Test team.

As per the reports, Shubman Gill sustained the injury while fielding in the slips and had to leave the field, not returning thereafter. He injured his left thumb on the second day of India?s intra-squad training match at the WACA.

Missing Shubman Gill in the first Test against Australia would be a big loss for Team India.
