IND vs ENG: ECB have surprisingly announced the England Test Squad for a five-match Test series against India in India. England are scheduled to visit India for a five-match red ball series next year and they have announced a strong 16-man test squad. With the aim of a big upset to India, England have added two uncapped spinners and an uncapped pacer in the squad with the likes of Jack Leach, James Anderson, and Mark Wood.

Fast bowler Gus Atkinson, and off-spinners Tom Hartley and Shoaib Bashir are the three uncapped players who were too good during the domestic county season.
