India and New Zealand are playing their second one-day international match of the three-match series today. At the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur, the two sides are playing one another. An international cricket match is being planned here for the first time. India has chosen to bowl first after winning the toss. India continues to lead the three-match ODI series 1-0. In an exciting game in Hyderabad, Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, overcame the Kiwis by a score of 12 runs.
Team India, under Rohit Sharma, will now want to win the Raipur One-Day International in order to take a commanding lead in the series. The New Zealand team is attempting to win the series while doing the same. In the absence of Kane Williamson, New Zealand's usual captain Tom Latham is captaining the team. Let us inform you that New Zealand would lose its title as the top ODI team if India manages to win the second game.
Don't Miss- India can become number 1 in ICC ODI rankings and can snatch the number 1 crown from New Zealand
Superb bowling by Mohammed Shami
This year's ODI performance by Mohammed Shami wasn't very noteworthy. He only managed to take 4 wickets in the first 4 games, but he came back strongly in the second One-Day International against New Zealand (IND vs NZ). Team India was immediately successful, thanks to fast bowler Shami. In the international match being played for the first time in Raipur, the Kiwi team gets off to a very poor start. The team has lost 7 wickets for 103 runs in 30 overs as of this writing. So far, Shami has grabbed three wickets. India leads the three-match series 1-0. The team will win the series if it wins this game.
Update- New Zealand is all out on 108 in 34.3 overs
