IND vs PAK: Pakistan playing 11 for the game against India prediction

Heading into the IND vs PAK game, Pakistan will be under pressure because they faced a thrashing loss against the United States of America. But with the kind of team they have been, it’s fair to say that one cannot write them off. Therefore, they will be pumped up for the game against India.

Openers – Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan

Coming to the Pakistan playing 11 for the IND vs PAK game, skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will be opening the batting. They didn’t have a great outing in the game against the USA but have a great track record against India and would be eager to help stage a comeback for the team.

Middle order – Usman Khan, Fakhar Zaman and Iftikhar Ahmed

At No.3 Pakistan are likely to continue with young wicket-keeper batter Usman Khan. The batter showed great promise in the last few games ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. But with IND vs PAK being a big-ticket clash, he will have to hold his nerves for the team.

Fakhar Zaman is expected to take the no.4 spot. He has been in fine touch of late but missed out on the game against the USA. The left-hander has a great record against India and will be extremely vital for his team in the upcoming IND vs PAK game.

Iftikhar Ahmed is likely to bat at No.5. He looked in great touch in the game against the USA and would be keen to carry on his good touch. He will be extremely crucial for his team in the IND vs PAK game. Apart from this, he also is likely to chip in with the ball for the team.

All-rounders – Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim

Shadab Khan was the shining light for the Pakistan team with the bat in the game against the USA. He bailed the team out of trouble with his sensational batting but struggled to get going with the ball. Therefore he would be keen to make an impact with the ball in the IND vs PAK match.

Imad Wasim is expected to make a comeback into the team for the IND vs PAK game. The all-rounder is expected to replace Azam Khan in the team. The keeper-batter has struggled to get going with the bat and is likely to be dropped.

Wasim on the other hand could be a vital cog in the wheel for the IND vs PAK game. His ability to perform consistently with bat and ball could be the X factor for Pakistan.

Pacers – Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf

Pakistan played four pacers in the game against the USA and is likely to continue with the same in the IND vs PAK game. The pitch at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York offers huge help to fast bowlers and Pakistan will be having an added advantage.

The likes of Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf would be keen to take the ball at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. They will be crucial for Pakistan’s chances in the IND vs PAK game.
