The two sides will engage in the T20I and ODI series, starting November 18 at Wellington.
Notably, team India is still in the T20 World Cup 2022 race, while New Zealand has been knocked out of the tournament by Pakistan. The Black Caps were handed a defeat in the 1st semi-final at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Meanwhile, India will face England in the 2nd semi-final on 10th November 2022 at the Adelaide Oval. The winner of the contest will head to the final and play against Pakistan on 13th November 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
India and New Zealand last met in 2021 when they played out bilateral T20I and Test series in India. Meanwhile, the ODI interaction between the two aforementioned sides goes back to February 2020 at the Kiwis' home ground.
