India vs Bangladesh ODI series set to start from August 17, BCCI announces the complete schedule
The Indian cricket team will play a series of 3 ODIs and as many T20 matches on the Bangladesh tour in August. The tour will start with the One Day International series, with the first match slated to be played on the 17th of August. The T20 series will start from August 26. The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India), the governing body of Indian Cricket, announced the full schedule on Tuesday, 15th of April.
The first match of the three-match One Day International series will be played on the 17th of August at Mirpur's iconic Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The second ODI match will be played on the same ground on the 20th of August while The third & final contest will be played in the city of Chittagong on August 23.
After the ODI series, Team India will play a 3-match T20 series against Bangladesh under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. The first match of the T20 International series will be played in Chittagong on Tuesday, 26 August. The iconic Sher-e-Bangladesh Stadium in Mirpur will play host to the second & third T20Is on August 29 and 31.

Last time Team India lost the ODI series in Bangladesh
The Men in Blue last played a One-Day International series in Bangladesh in 2022/23, when Bangladeshi Tigers seal the series 2-1 against the Rohit Sharma-led outfit. They lost both the opening matches of the series. Talking about the T20 series, the Indian cricket team has won both the series played so far.
Right now all the Indian players are playing for different teams in IPL 2025. Immediately after this league, the Indian cricket team will leave for England, where a 5-match Test series will be played from June 20. The last Test of the series will be played from 31 July to 4 August.
