India vs Sri Lanka Test: schedule, squads, match timings, telecast and live streaming details

India vs Sri Lanka Test series: Rohit Sharma-led team India, after thoroughly conquering Sri Lanka in the T20I series, will shift its gears for the two matches test series against the island nation. India and Sri Lanka are scheduled to lock horns for a two matches test series, starting March 4.
The hosts have been on a winning run since Rohit Sharma took the captaincy of the side. India defeated West Indies in both T20I and ODI series followed by a three matches T20I series win against Sri Lanka.
Now, it's the time for some red-ball matches. While Rohit Sharma will walk out in India?s navy blue blazer for the first time in his cricket career, his compatriot, Virat Kohli will be looking forward to a fantastic performance in his 100th test appearance.
The two games test series will be a part of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle. Currently, team India stands at 5th position in the points table of the Test Championship with a win percentage of 49.07, while Sri Lanka are leading the table with a comprehensive win percentage (100%).
Sri Lanka will face the Indian challenge in the tests after registering a 2-0 series win against West Indies in their own backyard. While India suffered a 1-2 defeat against South Africa in its last test assignment.
The first test match will be held in Mohali while the second one is slated to be staged in M Chinnaswamy, Bangalore, which will be a day/night fixture.
