According to resources, Saudi Arabia is planning to conduct the richest T20 cricket tournament. Reportedly, the team officials met the BCCI officials to discuss the participation of Indian Players in the tournament. 

Saudi Arabia is planning to conduct the biggest T20 tournament in the world. The League is set to take place in Gulf. The Saudi Arabia team officially recently met The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials for a discussion regarding the tournament.?

The team officials reportedly asked the Board Members for the Indian Premier League (IPL) team franchise management and owners to purchase teams in their tournament.?

IPL Team Franchises have teams in the domestic cricket leagues in many countries such as the United States of America, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. The IPL Franchise fans got their hopes high and were excited to see their favourite players participate in other International leagues as well before a BCCI Official disregarded all such speculations. 

Giving his quote to The Indian Express, the BCCI Official said:?

"No current Indian players will be taking part in any of the leagues, but as far as franchise participation is concerned, we can?t stop them, their individual decision. We have seen IPL franchises going to South Africa or Dubai and we can?t say no. It?s their choice to have their team in any of the leagues around the world.?

Retired Indian Players

Many retired Indian Players have recently taken interest in many domestic cricket leagues. Renowned Indian Star-Players like S Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh, and Suresh Raina recently participated in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, UAE. Irfan Pathan, Gautam Gambhir, Mohd. Kaif and many other Retired Indian cricketers joined hands in the Legends League Cricket held in Qatar.?

The relationship between Saudi Arabia and BCCI is growing stronger. We have witnessed ?Visit Saudi? as one of the major banners in the Indian stadiums for the TATA IPL 2023 matches. Aramco, the Saudi Oil biggie is one of the sponsors of both ICC and BCCI. 

We hope to see current and retired Indian players in action in the richest Saudi Arabia T20 League.
