The RCB-KKR rivalry for sure is one of the most favourites to watch and enjoy for the IPL fans across the period of the last several years. Both these sides are being closely considered as strong contenders for this year's IPL and thus it is supposedly going to be a wonderful cricketing clash when both the teams face each other tomorrow.
The fans have had the opportunity to witness several close encounters between the two sides in the past few seasons making tomorrow's match even more exciting for the supporters of both teams, and supporters of neither. Both sides have made a considerable amount of changes to their squads during the mega auction with an intent to start the rebuilding process right from the beginning. Thus all of us can expect both these teams to add another glorious chapter to this fierce rivalry once again.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Analysis
Gameplan: RCB who had come into this IPL season with lots of hopes and aspirations just like their previous seasons have been really being able to make a positive start to their campaign as they were handed a defeat in their first match by Punjab Kings. The side's batting just as per the expectations has shone brightly living up to its worth and was led by firepower from captain Faf Du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik towards the end.
However, what disappointed them and later on lost them the game was their bowling line up which couldn't deliver its plans accordingly. The bowlers kept on leaking runs in spite of regularly picking up wickets and thus failed to defend a mammoth score of 205 put up by the batters. Thus achieving complete perfection in all the departments simultaneously in tomorrow's match against KKR will be of primary objective for Bangalore.
Probable Playing XI:- Faf du Plessis (c), Virat Kohli, Anuj Rawat, Dinesh Karthik(wk), Sherfane Rutherford, Shahbaz Ahmed, Wanindu Hasaranga, David Willey, Harshal Patel, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj
Kolkata Knight Riders: Analysis
Gameplan: KKR unlike their fellow opponents have made a winning start to their campaign after a comprehensive victory over defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the first match of IPL 2022. All their departments seemed to function at their best in their win against CSK as the bowlers derailed the opposition batting at first which was later followed by some sublime batting performances which helped them chase down the total with around 2 overs to spare.
The newly appointed captain Shreyash Iyer will definitely be looking to continue the winning streak tomorrow against RCB with an equally impressive performance once again.
Probable Playing XI:- Venkatesh Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer(c), Nitish Rana, Sam Billings, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Sheldon Jackson(wk), Umesh Yadav, Shivam Mavi, Varun Chakravarthy
Probable top performers
Probable best batter of the match - Faf du Plessis
After his blistering knock in the first game, Faf Du Plessis without any sort of doubt shall be tipped to be the most impressive batsman by anyone in tomorrow's game once again. His red hot form while batting at the top order was made clear by his free-flowing batting against Punjab a couple of days ago when he scored thunderous 88 runs with a strike rate well over 200.
His versatile ability to perform with any batting line-up was proved when he resumed normal services with the bat while playing for his new franchise-RCB this season after CSK let him go during the mega auctions. His high strike rate right from ball one and counter-attacking batting during the powerplay overs will surely be too hot to handle for the opposition bowlers. Thus it is highly expected of the South African batsman to deliver another classical show with the bat tomorrow against the Knight Riders.
Probable best bowler of the match - Umesh Yadav
Based on his wonderful current form, Umesh Yadav shall be the most dangerous bowler to face for any batsman in tomorrow's game in our opinion. His sizzling pace and wonderful wicket-taking ability is nothing new to the fans. He ran riot against the Csk top order with his terrific opening spell, scalping two crucial wickets early on in the innings.
RCB batsmen will have to be wary of Yadav's intentions if they want to brighten their chances in tomorrow's game against a tough looking Kolkata side or else they'll be carried away by his pace for sure.
RCB vs KKR: Head to Head stats
Both these sides have shared a pretty interesting rivalry with each other in the past or rather right since the beginning of the prestigious league way back in 2008. However out of the 29 matches played so far between the two sides, KKR has the edge with 16 wins while RCB has emerged victorious on 13 occasions.
Matches Played: 29
KKR Won: 16
RCB Won: 13
RCB vs KKR: Winning Prediction
Probable winner of today's match - Royal Challengers Bangalore
After a lot of close analysis made on the basis of the batting, bowling strengths and several other aspects related to both the sides to face off tomorrow, we feel that Royal Challengers might have the edge over their rivals. The most important aspect which leads us to this conclusion is RCB's batting line up which has shown tremendous signs of improvement this season with the addition of new guns to their lineup.
The bowling line up though a bit rusty at the moment will surely be backed up by the management to make things happen for the team, especially in the presence of quality bowlers like Mohammed Siraj and Wanindu Hasaranga. The match tomorrow though is supposed to be a pretty unpredictable one for most of the experts and audience with the availability of equally able players to both the teams, we hope that Bangalore is successfully able to execute their plans and emerge victorious against the Knights tomorrow in an evenly poised match.
