IPL 2022 Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap: Mayank Agarwal-spearheaded Punjab Kings (PBKS) convincingly hammered Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by five wickets in match number 70 to end their Tata IPL 2022 campaign on a winning note at the Wankhede Stadium.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) kicked off their innings beautifully even though they lost their first wicket inside the powerplay after winning the toss. Young Abhishek Sharma was once again impressive as he scored 43 runs. Despite a few good partnerships at the top, SRH found itself amidst trouble as wickets began to tumble in the mid-phase of the innings.
Later, small cameos from Washington Sundar and Romario Shepherd helped SRH post 157 runs total in 20 overs.
In response, Punjab Kings remained atop Sunrisers Hyderabad throughout their chase. After initial quickfire innings from the top order, Liam Livingstone showed his aggression and played an unbeaten knock of 49 runs in just 22 deliveries and took Punjab Kings over the rope.
Mayank Agarwal and Co won the contest against SRH by five wickets and wrapped up their Tata IPL 2022 campaign with a win.

Punjab Kings put their stamp of authority in the match with five wickets remaining in just 15.1 overs which gave a big boost to their net run rate. PBKS jumped over KKR and SRH in the points table at sixth position with seven wins and as many losses in the IPL 2022.
SRH, on the other side, slipped down to the eighth spot following their disappointing outing in the final league stage match of the season. The Orange army has six victories and eight losses from 14 IPL 2022 matches.

Shikhar Dhawan played a fine knock of 37 runs from 32 deliveries against SRH, last night. The southpaw maintained his position in the top five of the orange cap rankers. Dhawan is placed in fourth place with an overall score of 460 runs in 14 matches.
Liam Livingstone was in sublime touch in this edition of the Indian Premier League. The Englishman ended his IPL 2022 run with a quickfire 49 runs inning against SRH, last night which took his overall runs tally to 437 runs in 14 games.
The top-ranked batter for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is opener Abhishek Sharma, who is placed eighth among the highest run-getters in the IPL 2022. Sharma amassed 426 runs from 14 matches this season.

South African pacer Kagiso Rabada still holds his position as the top-rated speedster in the IPL 2022 purple cap chart. Rabada scalped 23 wickets in 13 matches of the Tata IPL 2022 for Punjab Kings and is placed third in the list.
Pace sensation Umran Malik remained SRH?s top wicket-taker with 22 wickets in 14 matches. The young pacer is placed right below Kagiso Rabada in the wicket-takers chart.
