The IPL 2023 Auction is expected to take place at the far end of December 2022 or in January 2023. The Auction always brings in a sense of excitement with it. The shuffling of teams and the big names to be picked leave the cricket community amazed. The prices of these players make them million-dollar men. Over the years we have seen players like Glenn Maxwell, Yuvraj Singh, and Chris Morris make a hell lot of money. Here is a look at 3 players who can break the bank at the IPL 2023 Auction:
IPL 2023 Auction: Cameron Green Can Be Highest Price Player:
A young fast bowling all-rounder is someone who always earns a lot of money at the IPL Auctions. Over the years we have seen players like Kieron Pollard, Ben Stokes, Carlos Braithwaite, and Andrew Flintoff make a lot of money in this ?money-ball game". Cameron Green and his recent exploits in the T20I series against India have got him under the scanner of the IPL scouts. He wasn?t allowed to opt for the IPL 2022 Auctions by the Australian Cricket Board as they wanted to protect this young man from the demons of finance. But this time around Cameron will be rooting to come to the IPL.
IPL 2023 Auction: Ben Stokes Can Be Highest Price Player:
Sir Benjamin Stokes is most likely to make a comeback to the IPL next season. So, if Ben Stokes is putting his name in the IPL 2023 Auction of players, he already is highly-priced. He will have a reduced workload as he has decided to retire from ODI cricket. The ECB is also likely to free him from his role in the T20Is. So, with a lot of free time available, and a good opportunity to make the big bucks, Ben is expected to come to the IPL. Ben can bowl, bat, and field like a freak. He is bound to be a high-priced commodity.
Honorable Mentions
- Sanjay Yadav.
- Fazalhaq Farooqi.
- Dasun Shanaka
Rajat Patidar:
Another player who has been doing exceptionally well in the Indian domestic circuit and is likely to get a national call-up is Rajat Patidar. He led the Madhya Pradesh team to lift the Ranji Trophy. He has been associated with the RCB franchise for the past 3 years. But the team made effective use of Patidar only in the last season. His 100 in qualifier 1 left every cricket fan amazed. He was hitting international-level bowlers for fun. If Rajat decides to come to the auction, he will be very highly-priced as Indian middle-order batters are not easily available. Rajat can play spin very well and that adds immense value to his game.
