It's noteworthy that in any case now, the net run rate is going to come into the picture. Even if CSK wins both of its remaining games, they will have to additionally compete on the net run rate to seal a playoff spot. Along with CSK, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants will also be in the race for the playoffs.

If CSK wins only one of their remaining two matches, they will finish their run on 14 points, which is a dangerous territory to be in. CSK will be eliminated from the tournament, if Delhi Capitals (DC) wins both of its remaining matches.
