Former RCB and South African player Ab De Villiers has made a huge prediction regarding the two teams which will play in the final of IPL 2024. AB was doing a questionnaire on his YouTube channel and fans asked him which two teams do you want to see playing in the final of IPL 2024, RCB and KKR or RCB and SRH? AB reacted and said, ? The team which is in really good form in the current edition of the IPL is RCB as they made their way to the playoffs by winning six consecutive games.

Kolkata Knight Riders have been the best team of IPL 2024. In such a situation, I want to see Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders fight it out against each other in the final and whichever teams plays well should lift the trophy.?

?Since the final is in Chennai, KKR will have an advantage due to the presence of quality spinners in their lineup and those spinners can help KKR win. On the other hand, RCB have King Kohli in their team who wants to win the IPL trophy at any cost. He has the hunger to win and wants to win in the final wholeheartedly. These things are really important to consider and I feel that Royal Challengers Bengaluru will do something really special this time around,? De Villiers added.

Post the conclusion of IPL 2024?s league phase, the Kolkata Knight Riders finished at the top of the table with nine wins in 14 games while Pat Cummins led Sunrisers Hyderabad finished at the second position with eight victories out of 14 matches. The third and the fourth spots in the overall standings were occupied by Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

RCB executed a brilliant comeback this year. In the first seven games, the Bengaluru based team won just one game and they were sitting at the bottom of the table. But, they initiated a turnaround by winning all of their remaining seven matches continuously and became the first IPL Franchise to qualify for the playoffs after winning just a single game in their first seven matches of the season.

The Faf Du Plessis led team will play the eliminator tomorrow against the Rajasthan Royals and the winner of that match will play against the loser of Qualifier one in the second Qualifier. Royal Challengers Bengaluru have never won an IPL final since their inception in 2008 and it remains to be seen how well they will perform in this year's knockout rounds.
