IPL 2024 Most Sixes: The ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has shown some different colours in just the first half of it. There have been multiple supremely high-scoring matches so far, which have gone on to break the past records. Most of these records have been made with the batters whacking the opposition to their utmost capacity.
The batting-friendly surfaces and short boundaries in the IPL 2024 have aided the batters to hit big and they have just pounced on the opportunity to use their strength to make the most of the opportunity.
At the end of the Sunrisers Hyderabad versus Royal Challengers Bengaluru game last night, IPL saw a record-shattering 525 sixes hit by the batters in the first 30 games of the tournament. For some context, a total of 440 sixes were smashed by the 10 IPL teams during IPL 2023 in the first 30 matches.
It’s truly been a batters’ paradise so far this season. The SRH vs RCB game, last night, saw a whopping 38 sixes being hit by the teams collectively. The number equals the record of hitting most sixes in a T20 fixture.
Interestingly, during the SRH vs MI fixture, which saw SRH (277) break RCB’s record of scoring most runs in an IPL innings, both the teams smoked 38 sixes.

SRH’s wicketkeeper batter Heinrich Klaasen has struck the most number of sixes so far in the IPL 2024. Klaasen has hit 24 sixes in six innings. He is followed by Nicholas Pooran, who plays for Lucknow Super Giants, with 19 sixes.
Young Rajasthan Royals batter Riyan Parag is third on the list followed by Dinesh Karthik, Abhishek Sharma and Sunil Narine.
