IPL 2024: RCB All out (153/10), LSG won by 28 Runs | RCB vs LSG Match highlights

IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants played exceptional cricket in the home ground of RCB and won the match by 28 runs. It was match no.15 of TATA IPL 2024 between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)? and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) but LSG?s dominating performances led them to their second victory of the tournament. The Player of the match was Quinton de Kock, who played a fantastic knock of 81 runs.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) underplayed Lucknow Super Giants in their home ground (M. Chinnaswamy Stadium) as they failed to stop LSG under 150 and weren?t able to chase 182 runs despite having one of the strongest batting units.
The Key batters like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glen Maxwell failed to play big innings as they got out quite early but RCB's middle order shattered and showed one of the poor performances of this season so far.

Quinton de Kock Impressive Knock against RCB and led LSG to a decent total:
LSG Batting
Lucknow Super Giants batted first and they had a good start but it could be much better as the wicket was good for batting. However, LSG scored 54 runs in the batting powerplay but skipper KL Rahul got out by scoring only 20 runs. But, Quinton de Kock was consistently hitting the boundaries and tried to dominate RCB bowlers.?
However, de Kock was indeed successful as he scored 80 runs in 56 balls with 8 fours and 5 sixes. Lucknow played good cricket especially in the middle overs as they kept rotating the strike and also scoring boundaries as well. In the end, Nicholas Pooran played a stormy inning of 40 runs in 21 balls and led the Lucknow Super Giants to a decent score of 181 runs in Bengaluru.
RCB Bowling
Royal Challengers Bengaluru performed well as compared to the other games although it was not up to the mark. Glenn Maxwell took two wickets and he was the only bowler who has dominated the LSG batter in this match. Mohd. Siraj, Reece Topley and Yash Dayal took one wicket each.

RCB openers Skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli gave an aggressive start to the team as they scored 36 runs in the first four overs of the inning but after that LSG bowlers dominated the game and RCB batters lost back-to-back wickets. Bengaluru was at 59 runs in the 8th over with a loss of four wickets, which includes KGF(Kohli, Maxwell and Faf).
However, later on, Rajat Patidar played a decent inning of 29 runs but failed to convert it into the match-winning inning. RCB's impact player Mahipal Lomror played an impressive and aggressive inning of 33 runs in 13 balls with fours and sixes but RCB failed to chase the target and lost the match by 28 runs.
LSG Bowling:
Lucknow's young pacer Mayank Yadav is performing exceptionally as he took three wickets in this match whereas also got three wickets in the last match against Punjab Kings. Marcus Stoinis, Naveen-ul-Haq, Yash Thakur and Manimaran Siddharth took one wicket each.
