According to the reports of AccuWeather, the chances of rainfall interfering with the game on the 18th of May are really high and the match might end up getting washed out due to rain. If the match gets abandoned due to rain, both the teams will then share one point each with each other and if that happens, then the Royal Challengers Bengaluru will effectively get eliminated from the race of playoffs.

AccuWeather says the weather is anticipated to be cloudy and thunderstorms are anticipated to take place during the afternoon period on 18th May. Alongside the thunderstorm, heavy rainfall is expected in the evening and it could affect the chances of the CSK RCB match taking place properly.

The chances of cloud cover are 99% while the precipitation chances are 73%.
